Owner Surrender/Intake
PLEASE NOTE, this link is for owner surrender only. All strays surrenders you will need to contact the proper authorities before FOA can accept the animal see below. We only accept feline and canine at this time.
FOA will try to help all animals we can, but we hope you understand there will be times when we can not take on some surrenders due to space as and over capacity shelter isn’t a safe shelter for other well animals or employees. But each case is looked at one by one to determine.
I’ve found a stray or lost animal what should I do?
Good Samaritan Finder: FOA can help with checking for a microchip, posting to our Facebook pages the animal once all proper information is obtained from the finder AND all information is verified, we can assist by holding the animal or you can hold the animal.
Our main goal is to help as many animals as we can help or assist. Please note that FOA receives calls daily about lost animals and if you find one it is best to notify FOA.
